Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rotational Occupational Therapist to contribute to a range of clinical rotations across Older Adults, Neuroscience, Surgery and more. You will manage a caseload with supervision from a multidisciplinary team and develop core competencies through varied placements.

Rotations are six months each across hospital and community settings, with strong emphasis on professional development, supervision, and a Values Based Appraisal.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and trained in the OT process.
• Experience working in hospital/community settings preferred.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a caseload with support from senior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, carers and colleagues.
• Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
• Maintain accurate records in line with Trust policy and data protection.
• Contribute to service development and professional projects.
• Be flexible to cover weekend shifts in a 7-day service.
