Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a 12-month fixed term rotational Occupational Therapy post. The programme rotates every six months across Older Adults and Frailty, Neuroscience, Surgery and Oncology, Social Services, and the Oxfordshire Wheelchair Service.

Post holders will work within integrated OT and Physiotherapy teams, manage caseloads, and undertake assessments with support from the team and senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration or within 6 months of qualifying
• Relevant undergraduate/postgraduate Occupational Therapy clinical experience
• Desirable: Acute hospital experience

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload and plan/undertake Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions with support from the team and senior colleagues
• Work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team and maintain accurate records in line with trust policy
• Contribute to service development projects and be flexible to weekend work across a 7-day service
