Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) invites applications for a Foundation Pharmacist to join Pharmacy Services at QEUH. This is a rotational role to develop clinical knowledge within a supportive learning environment while undertaking RCPharm Enhanced Curriculum.

The post offers permanent 36-hour contracts at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with participation in extended hours, weekends and on-call rotas as part of a structured training programme.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent).
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Foundation/Pre-registration Pharmacist Training completed or in progress.
• Commitment to RCPharm Enhanced Curriculum and Credential pathway.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care across clinical specialties.
• Support safe medicines use through clinical review and medicines optimisation.
• Deliver patient counselling, discharge planning and prescribing support.
• Participate in governance, audits and service improvement; support trainees and staff.
