Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Rotational Senior Clinical Pharmacist under the STEP-Up Programme. The post combines clinical ward-based work with training across specialties, supporting safe prescribing and medicines management within a dynamic MDT.

The role includes opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and progression towards independent prescribing. It is a full-time, permanent post with dedicated learning time and a focus on high quality patient

Formación

• MPharm or equivalent academic qualification.
• Pre-Registration year leading to GPhC Membership.
• Current membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or currently studying for it.

Responsabilidades

• Provide ward-based clinical services across allocated wards.
• Support safe prescribing and medicine administration; advise MDT members.
• Train and supervise junior pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and staff.
• Undertake risk assessments and maintain safe systems of work.
