Job summary
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting pharmacists to join our rotational and specialist rotational clinical pharmacy team serving Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary. Rotational posts offer breadth across Surgery, Acute Medicine, Cardiology, Stroke rehab, Respiratory and Community services with mentorship from senior pharmacists.
Support for diploma in clinical pharmacy and non‑medical prescribing, with progression from Band 6 to 7, including trainees
Qualifications
- Motivated pharmacist with strong clinical and communication skills.
- Willing to work across multiple specialties within a rotational framework.
- Support for progression from Band 6 to 7 and diploma/ prescribing qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Medicine optimisation for patients admitted to our specialties.
- Identify medication related issues and reduce prescribing risks.
- Provide expert medication management advice within the MDT and at discharge.
