Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Greater Manchester is recruiting enthusiastic pharmacists to join our rotational and specialist rotational clinical pharmacy team at Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary, delivering patient-focused services.

The role emphasises medicines optimisation, reducing prescribing risks, and MDT collaboration, with support to complete a clinical diploma or non-medical prescribing; open to new graduates or those changing sector, with flexible

Qualifications

• Vocational master’s degree in Pharmacy required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to analyse drug charts and advise on medicines and dosages.
• Willingness to work flexible hours over a seven-day rota.

Responsibilities

• Medicines optimisation for patients admitted to specialties.
• Provide expert medication management advice to the MDT.
• Support safe and cost-effective prescribing and inform discharge information to primary/community care.
• Progression from Band 6 to 7 with senior support and development.
