Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Teaching Trust is recruiting a Clinical Rotational Pharmacist to gain experience across multiple specialties through a structured rotation program and to pursue postgraduate training in clinical pharmacy and non-medical prescribing.

You will be part of an expanding clinical pharmacy team, focusing on patient-centred care and continuous professional development within the NHS Trust.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent.
• Competency assessed and examined professional.
• Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
• Able to undertake Diploma in Pharmacy Practice and Independent prescribing course.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured rotation programme including general medicine, cardiology, elderly care, stroke, paediatrics and more.
• Study for the General Practice Diploma and non-medical prescribing.
• Supervise and check the work of pharmacy technicians and assistants.
• Provide professional advice on pharmaceutical matters to medical, nursing and other staff.
