Job summary

INSPIRED Pet Nutrition is hiring a Warehouse Operator / FLT Driver to join our Thirsk manufacturing site on a permanent, site-based contract. Rotating days and nights, Friday to Sunday with one weekday shift, 06:00–18:00 or 18:00–06:00, 48 hours per week.

You will supply production with materials, move finished goods to storage, unload inbound vehicles, prepare loads for dispatch and support safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within Manufacturing.
• Counter balance / reach truck license or willing to train.
• Good literacy and numerical skills; able to report in English.

Responsibilities

• Supply production with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme.
• Locate finished goods from production areas into the Warehouse for storage until despatch.
• Unload inbound vehicles and rack away materials following acceptance and GRN generation.
• Pick and assemble loads for dispatch and load outgoing vehicles as per despatch paperwork.
• Work safely at all times and follow health and safety policies; raise safety concerns when needed.
• Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing starter documentation and reporting issues.
• Assist with training and buddy new colleagues as required.
