Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer on a 3-week rotating shift pattern (days and nights) at the Burton upon Trent site. The role covers preventative maintenance and breakdown support for process equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Apprentice trained to NVQ level 3 or time served
• Core mechanical workshop skills: fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Fabrication and welding experience beneficial
• Basic PLC fault finding advantageous
• CMMS experience SAP - PM Module preferred
• Good understanding of H&S and regulatory requirements
• Experience with contractor control systems
• Experience in mechanical fault finding and routine maintenance

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and maintenance across the Burton site
• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance and breakdown response on process equipment
• Ensure equipment is maintained, breakdowns repaired safely and efficiently
• Adhere to safety and quality standards while working with production teams
