Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Level 3 apprenticeship in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical certificate in a mechanical engineering field, supplemented with relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrable experience in a mechanical fitting role, preferably involving rotating equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, strip, and reuse small gas turbine components according to engineering specifications with high accuracy.
• Perform mechanical fitting tasks on rotating equipment and operate lifting equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate records of build figures and production data.
• Uphold quality and safety standards and apply 5S principles in the workspace.
