Job summary

Babcock International Company is seeking an Avionics Engineer to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot advanced avionics and electrical systems on rotary aircraft. You will work with the Avionics Supervisor and Maintenance team, supporting maintenance plans, milestones and aviation safety compliance.

Based at Gloucestershire Airport on site, the role requires strong fault-finding, documentation skills, and a focus on safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CAA Part 66 B2 AML (preferred with EC-135 and/or H-145 type ratings).
• Line/Base Avionic Maintenance experience is essential.
• Rotary aircraft experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of aviation safety procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned line and base maintenance on rotary aircraft and avionics systems.
• Rectify deferred defects in line with MELs and procedures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems to maintain aircraft availability.
• Ensure serviceable tools, equipment, and data are available for maintenance.
• Maintain professional communication with colleagues and customers to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
