Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd in Oxford is seeking an Avionic Manager to oversee certification of maintenance and repairs on rotorcraft, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance. The role demands Part 66 B2 and C licences with type ratings and strong leadership.

The successful candidate will lead a team, liaise with Part 21 functions, and manage maintenance software. DBS clearance and export compliance experience are required, with onsite duties in Oxford.

Qualifications

• Part 66 B2 Licence with C certifying privileges.
• Degree level qualification in an aircraft maintenance related topic.
• Excellent organisational skills and time management.
• Strong leadership and team-building ability.
• Excellent communicator at all levels.
• DBS/SC clearance eligibility and Export Compliance Regulations

Responsibilities

• Certify maintenance and repairs on rotorcraft.
• Ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staff adherence to standards and policies.
• Assist with production planning.
• Supervise battery workshop and other components.
• Liaise with Part 21 functions.
• Inspect and issue Form 1s.
• Provide technical support to regional engineers and customers.
• Manage MGS and maintenance software
