Job summary

Network Rail is recruiting for a role to compile, maintain and publish accurate employee rosters using the Corporate Rostering Tool, ensuring rosters align with national principles and company policies.

You will coordinate cover for sickness, annual leave, training and interviews, oversee leave records, validate data with local managers, and support payroll and reporting with precise roster data.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of national rostering principles.
• Experience prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience analysing data and producing reports.
• Understanding of roster systems and pay arrangements for rostered staff.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Compile, maintain and publish accurate employee rosters using the Corporate Rostering Tool.
• Coordinate cover for sickness, annual leave, training, interviews and other arrangements.
• Validate roster data with local managers and manage short notice changes.
• Oversee leave records and annual leave planning.
• Ensure safety-critical competencies are built into rosters and monitor fatigue.
• Provide data to support reporting requirements and payroll checks.
• Support payroll changes and fatigue risk analysis.
• Ensure rosters meet policies and standards.
