Job summary

The Enquire Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated Lunch Time Supervisor for Roseberry Academy, Great Ayton, Middlesbrough. The role involves supervising pupils during lunch, supporting safe play and promoting positive lunchtime experiences.

You will join a team providing outdoor social, active and creative play while ensuring pupils enjoy their meals and have ample time for outdoor activities. This fixed-term post runs until 31 August 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience with children preferred.
• Able to facilitate play and support lunchtime activities.
• First Aid training is desirable or willing to complete.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch times and support safe, social and active play.
• Contribute to creating a pleasant eating environment and encourage outdoor time.

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Lunch Time Supervisor to support pupils during lunch times. You will work as a member of the Lunch Time Supervisory Team to create a safe and stimulating outdoor environment providing social, active and creative play experiences for all. This team are also responsible for ensuring all our children have a pleasant eating experience at lunchtime, whilst maximising the time they can spend outside playing.

• Is kind, caring, nurturing and approachable.
• Ideally has experience of working with children.
• Can facilitate play opportunities
• Can offer care, support, and advice for children during lunchtime.
• Has, or is willing to complete, First Aid training.
