Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is integrated across the centre. You will inspire your team to achieve high standards of care and learning in a leadership role at a Busy Bees nursery.

The role focuses on planning activities, safeguarding, and developing staff through strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with families.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
• Level 3+ qualification in early years education is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
