Job summary

First Place Nursery Radlett, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a proactive and passionate Room Leader to support delivery of high-quality care and EYFS‑aligned education for children.

This role offers a salary of £29,952–£31,200 per year, regular pay reviews, flexible working options, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
