Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is assisting a Redditch nursery to recruit a Room Leader. You will lead the daily running of your room, plan and assess in line with EYFS, supervise staff and ensure safeguarding and ratio compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a full Level 3 Early Years qualification, with experience leading a room and a strong EYFS knowledge base. This is a permanent, full-time role (all year round) offering a salary of up to £31,500.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Experience leading a nursery room and senior room responsibilities.
• Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your allocated room.
• Oversee planning, observations and assessments in line with EYFS.
• Supervise and support practitioners within the room.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and ratio compliance.
• Monitor children's progress and identify next steps.
• Build professional relationships with parents and carers.
