Willing Care Recruitment Limited has partnered with a well-established nursery to recruit a Room Leader ready to step into a leadership role. The role focuses on leading the day-to-day activities in your designated room, delivering high-quality care and education under the EYFS framework.

If you are an experienced early years practitioner with strong leadership and mentoring skills, you will thrive in a supportive team with opportunities for professional growth within an award-winning nursery

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues.
• A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room.
• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support, mentor, and motivate team members.
• Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences and activities.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times.
