Job summary

Bright Horizons Countess of Chester Nursery is seeking a Room Leader to lead, mentor and support a dedicated team in the Rising 2’s room. You will drive exceptional care and education, ensuring child welfare and safeguarding while partnering with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting – ideally in a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator role.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection and wider legislative requirements for working with children.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
• Promote child welfare, health and safety and safeguarding.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and professionals to meet each child's needs.
