Job summary

Grandir UK is seeking a Room Leader for Pippa's House Day Nursery in Esher to lead a supportive team and uphold EYFS standards. The role involves supervising playroom staff, allocating carers and ensuring a high standard of care and education for children.

Salary £29,952–£31,200 per year, with regular pay reviews and progression opportunities within Grandir UK. Excellent benefits including extensive annual leave and a generous pension scheme.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers

What You Will Be Doing
