Job summary

Pippa's House Day Nursery in Claygate (part of Grandir UK) is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team. You will care for, support and inspire children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive daily.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the EYFS
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers

What You Will Be Doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
