Job summary

Kids Planet Basford is seeking a Room Leader to join our nurturing team. You will lead a room, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with EYFS, and help children thrive.

The role offers accredited training through KP Academy, supportive leadership, and opportunities for professional development within a well-established nursery group. A Level 3 UK early years qualification and safeguarding knowledge are essential.

How you'll make a difference as a Room Leader:

• By leading and managing a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Through supporting and guiding the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Through building strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child's individual needs are met and their learning is supported.

What a Room Leader needs:

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.
