Job summary

Kids Planet Great Boughton is hiring a Room Leader on a fixed-term maternity cover to lead a dedicated team in a nurturing EYFS setting near Chester.

You will ensure high-quality care and education, support colleagues and families, and foster a warm, inclusive environment. We offer training through KP Academy, competitive salary, a generous pension, and an 80% childcare discount.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK-recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS frameworks and safeguarding requirements.
• Leadership experience is desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Support and guide the team to foster a positive, collaborative environment and develop staff.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, meeting individual developmental needs.

• By leading and managing a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Through supporting and guiding the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Through Building Strong Relationships With Children And Families, Ensuring Each Child's Individual Needs Are Met And Their Learning Is Supported.

What a Room Leader Needs

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.
