Job summary

Kids Planet Penwortham is seeking a Room Leader to lead a busy room within our nursery, delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

The role requires Level 3 early years qualification, strong safeguarding knowledge and a passion for supporting children’s development. We offer accredited training, enhanced leave, and a supportive central team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
