Job summary

Remedicare are recruiting for a dedicated Room Leader to join an established Nursery in Stratford on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role offers a salary of £33,870 per annum with 35 days annual leave, a 70% childcare discount and a 7% employer pension contribution (1% from you). You will join the leadership team and help manage the site and your room, ensuring high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 in Childcare / Early Years Educator or equivalent.
• Strong leadership experience in a Nursery setting preferred (Room Leader/Deputy/Third in Charge).
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the site and your room.
• Lead a team of nursery staff to maintain high standards of care.

On behalf of an established Nursery in Stratford, Remedicare are actively recruiting for a dedicated Room Leader to join their friendly team on a full time, permanent basis.

This excellent Nursery is run by an established charity that has been providing high-quality childcare and education for many years. The nurturing environment and the carefully selected team of Practitioners ensures each child is cared for in a safe, secure environment with planned activities. They have dedicated rooms on offer for the various age ranges, each reflecting the areas of learning.

As Room Leader you will join the leadership team and support with the day-to-day management of the site and your specific room. Within this you will help to lead a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standard and quality of care. You will be familiar with all educational standards and requirements, and able to step in to support the Nursery Assistants.

This is a full time, permanent Room Leader position paying a fantastic £33,870 per annum! Experienced Room Leaders with at least Level 3 in Early Years Educator, CACHE, Childcare or similar are encouraged to apply.

Room Leader profile:

• Level 3 in Childcare / Early Years Educator or similar
• Strong leadership skills with previous leadership experience within a Nursery setting preferred (E.g. Room Leader, Room Manager, Third in Charge, Deputy Nursery Manager)
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of EYFS

Room Leader duties will include:

• Supporting other Nursery Practitioners and work as a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children within the setting
• Keep a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
• Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical needs
• Liaising with Parents and Carers to ensure a high level of involvement and satisfaction
