Job summary

Childbase Partnership Limited in Oxford is seeking a Team Leader (room-based) to guide a small team in a nursery setting. You will help plan activities, support learning through play and ensure children’s safety and development are prioritised.

The role offers permanent employment, 36–40 hours per week across varied shifts, with options for 4 or 5 days. Salary is £36,150.40–£36,878.40 per year (pro-rata) or £17.38–£17.73 per hour, with extensive family and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified EY professional with EYFS knowledge and safeguarding responsibilities.
• DfE approved early years qualification at level 3 or above.
• Experience leading a team in an early years setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a room-based team to deliver outstanding care and early learning.
• Plan and implement high-quality activities aligned with the EYFS.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress and development.
