Job summary

Childbase Partnership Limited, Grasshoppers Aylesbury, is seeking a Nursery Team Leader (room-based) for a permanent, full-time post. 37.5–40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with shifts 07:30–18:30 and options for a 4- or 5-day week.

Salary £36,150.40–£36,878.40 per annum (pro-rata) (£17.38–£17.73 per hour). You will hold a DfE approved Level 3+ early years qualification, work as a Key Person, plan/highlight learning through play, observe progress, and uphold safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified early years professional with EYFS knowledge.
• Experience planning engaging activities to promote learning through play.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and child wellbeing focus.
• Ability to lead and empower a team to deliver outstanding care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality learning activities.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
• Maintain safeguarding and wellbeing of children at all times.
• Lead and develop the room-based team to deliver excellent care.
