Job summary

Childbase Partnership is seeking a Team Leader (room-based) for West Downs Day Nursery in Winchester to guide staff caring for 3-5 year olds. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, with varied shifts from 07:30 to 18:30.

The salary range is £33,150.20 to £36,836.80 per annum (pro-rata) or £15.94 to £17.71 per hour. You will support learning, safeguarding, and team development within a welcoming, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified EY professional with level 3+ EY qualification and relevant experience.
• Ability to plan and implement high-quality learning activities.
• Strong safeguarding commitment.
• Collaborative leadership and team empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality learning activities for 3-5 year olds.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress using EYFS.
• Safeguard and promote children's well-being.
• Lead and develop the room-based team to deliver outstanding care.
