Classic Lodges Limited at The Ambleside Salutation Hotel in the Lake District is hiring a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms, beds, bathrooms and common areas to high standards.

You will restock supplies, report maintenance issues, and provide friendly service to guests. Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week with weekends; live-out salary £29,008 per year, with a possible live-in option.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an understanding of the importance of maintaining high standards in hotel cleanliness.

Duties

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure all rooms are fully equipped for guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising rooms in accordance with hotel policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.

Qualifications
