Langdale Leisure Limited is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper to maintain the Langdale Hotel and Spa in Ambleside. The role is on-site, with 6–18 hours per week and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Qualifications

• Physical stamina for lifting or moving items.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy assigned lodges thoroughly, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
• Carry out dusting, vacuuming, mopping and polishing to maintain a pristine environment.
• Change linens and make beds with care and attention to detail.
• Replenish toiletries and towels for guest comfort.
• Empty trash and recycling bins promptly and efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues to management for quick resolution.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to protect guests and staff.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth lodge turnover and guest satisfaction.

Role Summary

Are you ready to make a difference in our guests' experiences by ensuring their surroundings are clean, comfortable, and inviting? We are currently seeking diligent and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. You'll play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, creating a welcoming environment for our guests to enjoy throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy assigned lodges thoroughly, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
• Carry out dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain a pristine environment

• Replenish amenities such as toiletries and towels for guest comfort
