The Amblesinde Salutation Hotel in Ambleside is hiring a General Assistant to support our restaurant and bar services. You’ll join a friendly team, serve breakfast and dinner, and help ensure guests have a welcoming dining experience.

Part-time or full-time positions are available with a 40-hour, five-day pattern. Uniform is provided, and employees have access to leisure facilities; on-site live-out options and tips are included where applicable.

The Amblesinde Salutation Hotel & Spa are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated General Assistant Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant and bar, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and well taken care of.

Duties

Your duties will be in our Restaurant department, together with our dedicated team you will be responsible for serving Breakfast and Dinner within the hotel, experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Part time covering either breakfast or dinner service, possibly some bar work would also be considered.

You should have good communication and organisational skills and the desire to become a key member of staff. You must be able to speak English to a good standard and be eligible to work in the UK and provide appropriate documentation to support this.

• £13.50 per hour for Part time hours (Live out only)
• A live-in position could be available on a live-in salary
