Sea Containers London on the vibrant South Bank is seeking a confident, personable Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of 12th Knot, one of London's iconic rooftop destinations.

Qualifications

• Confident and personable host/hostess with a welcoming manner.
• Experience or ability to manage reservations using OpenTable and Micros.
• Strong guest service and communication skills, in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, friendly and professional first impression for every guest
• Manage reservations and seating using OpenTable and Micros
• Build genuine connections with guests, recognising regulars and enhancing their experience
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure a smooth, enjoyable visit from arrival to departure
• Communicate effectively with the restaurant, kitchen and management teams (dietary requirements, celebrations, special requests)
• Maintain a clear overview of the dining room to ensure efficient service flow
• Handle phone and in-person enquiries with confidence and professionalism
• Be a knowledgeable point of contact, guiding guests around the venue and hotel

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm, friendly and professional first impression for every guest

Manage reservations and seating using OpenTable and Micros

Build genuine connections with guests, recognising regulars and enhancing their experience

Anticipate guest needs and ensure a smooth, enjoyable visit from arrival to departure
