Job summary

RML Roofing Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead roofing refurbishment projects from pre-start through to handover, typically five to ten active on site across the Midlands and South East, with a hybrid working model.

You will own the programme, H&S documentation, supply chain and site teams, control costs against the budget, liaise with clients, and deliver full handover packs including O&M documentation, while upholding safety and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing industrial/commercial roofing refurbishment projects.
• Confident running five to ten concurrent projects.
• Strong commercial awareness — budgets, margins and variations.
• Background in sheeting, cladding and flat-roofing systems.
• Clear communicator with clients, site teams and subcontractors.
• Certifications: SMSTS, IPAF, CSCS (Manager/Professional), First Aid & Asbestos Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead roofing refurbishment projects from pre-start to handover.
• Produce programme and H&S documentation, manage supply chain and site teams.
• Control costs and protect project margins.
• Liaise with clients, provide progress reports, valuations and variations.
• Close out projects with O&M handover documentation.
• Participate in morning reactive maintenance call-out rota.
• Conduct site surveys (training provided).
