Job summary

InVision Group is recruiting an Estimator for roofing projects based in Worthing, West Sussex. You will manage the full estimating process from enquiry through tender submission, reading drawings, and preparing detailed costings for projects valued from £50k to £500k.

You will collaborate with Contracts, Commercial, Construction and BD teams to deliver competitive bids, support pricing variations, and build strong supplier relationships. Office-based with site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Estimator role within construction.
• Roofing experience advantageous within specialist contracting.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and contract docs.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full tender process from enquiry to final submission.
• Prepare accurate estimates, tenders, bills of quantities and cost breakdowns.
• Analyse drawings and contract docs to establish project requirements.
• Carry out site surveys and measurements to support pricing.
• Prepare programmes of work and tender documentation.
• Support contracts team with pricing variations and additional works.
• Submit accurate payment applications where required.
• Provide estimating and commercial support to project teams.
