Job summary

Kingsley Roofing (Southern) Limited seeks an Estimator to handle roofing estimating from enquiries to tender submissions, with site surveys as required. Based mostly in the office, you will use drawings and estimating software to prepare bills of quantities and cost analyses, supporting bids on projects typically valued from £50K to £500K.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience in the construction sector.
• Degree or equivalent higher qualification (Construction/ QS/ Civil Eng/ Maths/ Accounting).
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving with high level of technical competence.
• Understanding of contractual terms in construction projects.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear tenders, programmes of work, and cost analyses.
• Manage tender process from enquiry to submission.
• Support project management throughout delivery.
• Compile and submit accurate payment applications.
• Assist Contracts Manager with variation pricing.
• Develop strong product and service knowledge to represent the company.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Commercial, and Construction teams.
• Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
• Support business development to strengthen client partnerships.
