Candidate Background

The position is likely to suit someone already estimating within the roofing industry who understands the practical and commercial considerations involved in pricing roofing packages.

You should ideally have:

• Previous estimating experience within roofing or a closely related specialist subcontracting environment
• Good knowledge of roofing systems and construction methods
• Experience reading drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• The ability to produce accurate and commercially sensible estimates
• A practical understanding of materials, labour requirements and project costs
• Experience across flat roofing, single-ply, built-up felt, green roofs, pitched roofing or associated waterproofing systems would be particularly relevant
