You will review drawings and tender information, produce accurate estimates for roofing and waterproofing packages, and work with the wider team to secure projects. The position is based in West Malling and involves taking-off materials and labour costs for varied roofing

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within roofing or related subcontracting.
• Good knowledge of roofing systems and construction methods.
• Experience reading drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Ability to produce accurate and commercially sensible estimates.
• Practical understanding of materials, labour costs.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender information
• Producing accurate estimates for roofing and waterproofing packages
• Carrying out take-offs and assessing labour and material requirements
• Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor pricing where required
• Preparing quotations and tender submissions
• Working with the wider team to ensure secured projects are handed over
