Job Title: Contracts Manager (Roofing)

Our client, an expanding UK-based construction business, is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their growing team in Milton Keynes. The company specializes in commercial and industrial new build and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.

Role Overview

The Contracts Manager will oversee roofing projects across multiple sites in the UK, acting as the primary contact for clients and ensuring project delivery from concept to completion, maintaining high standards of service and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver multiple projects up to £1M in value.
• Lead teams of supervisors and technicians to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Enhance customer satisfaction while maintaining commercial performance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
• Participate in surveys and meetings to understand project scope and develop specifications.
• Develop specifications with clients and architects.
• Prepare quotations, bills of quantities, tender packages, and presentations.
• Review and manage commercial arrangements and contracts.

Candidate Requirements

• 5-10 years' experience in roofing and construction/improvement works.
• Able to commute to Milton Keynes and travel to sites as needed.
• Proven commercial acumen and understanding of sustainable business operations.
• Strong project management skills with similar experience.
• Previous management experience.
• HNC or equivalent in building or surveying.
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card holder.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
