Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited are recruiting an experienced Roofer's Mate to support roofing teams delivering repairs and maintenance in Havant and surrounding areas. The role is temp full-time, Monday to Friday, at £18.90 per hour.

You will assist with roofing repairs on occupied and void social housing properties, help prepare materials, carry out roof strip-outs, and ensure safety on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Roofer's Mate or Roofing Labourer.
• Experience in roofing repairs or maintenance.
• Ability to work at height safely.
• Good health and safety awareness on sites.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
• Reliable and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Roofers with responsive roofing repairs and planned maintenance.
• Preparing materials, tools and equipment for roofing works.
• Carrying out roof strip-outs and assisting with the installation of new roofing materials.
• Loading and unloading materials safely.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Assisting with guttering, fascias, soffits and roofline repairs.
• Working in occupied and void social housing properties.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer's Mate to join a leading social housing contractor delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services across Havant and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing support to roofing teams carrying out repairs and maintenance on occupied and void social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting Roofers with responsive roofing repairs and planned maintenance.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Roofer's Mate or Roofing Labourer.
• Experience working within roofing repairs or maintenance.
• Ability to work at height safely.
• Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
