Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is recruiting a Roofer for a site-based role around Warminster, typically Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week. The team provides a supportive environment while delivering high-quality roofing repairs on social housing properties.

You’ll work on several roofing tasks, from tile replacements to fascia/soffit and flat roof refelting, within a live housing environment and with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience on all aspects of domestic roofing and repairs.
• Experience working in live environments desirable.
• Breathable system compliance knowledge advantageous.
• Ability to read job tickets or use handheld devices daily.
• Full UK driving licence is required and DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic roofing works including tile replacements, fascia/soffit, rain water goods repairs, chimney and valley repairs, and flat roof refelting.
• Work in live environments where applicable and coordinate with other trades.
• Follow breathable system fixings meeting British standards.
• Work from job tickets or handheld device daily and manage own time effectively.
• Adhere to Novus Health and Safety policies and maintain accurate systems.
• Maintain a valid UK driving licence and prepare for DBS check.

Location: Site based around Warminster and approximately a 60 minute radius - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Roofer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

• Roofer with experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting


• Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial


• Breathable system compliant with current fixings meeting British standard specifications and competent roofer beneficial but not essential


• Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily


• Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively


• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards


• Manage Systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate


• Full UK Driving Licence is required


• This role will require a DBS check
