Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is hiring a Roofer to join our site-based team covering Lancashire and Cumbria on a social housing repairs contract. You will perform roofing repairs and replacements across traditional roofs, working Monday to Friday with a 39-hour week and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires experience in domestic roofing, a full UK driving licence, and a DBS check. We offer a competitive pay rate, company van access, pension, and development opportunities

Qualifications

• Roofer with experience of domestic roofing and related repairs such as tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rainwater goods repairs, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting.
• Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial.
• Breathable system compliance with current fixings and standard specifications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roof repairs and installations for domestic properties including tile replacements and guttering work.
• Duties may include fascia/soffit and rainwater goods repairs and replacements, chimney and valley repairs, and refelting of flat roofs.
• Work from job tickets or handheld devices daily and manage own time effectively.
• Co-operate with other trades and the site or contract team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow Novus’ Health and Safety policies and maintain up-to-date records.

Location: Site based around Lancashire and Cumbria - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Roofer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

• Roofer with experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting
• Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial
• Breathable system compliant with current fixings meeting British standard specifications and competent roofer beneficial but not essential
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily
• Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Manage Systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate
• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• This role will require a DBS check
