Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Roofer to join our site-based team around Salisbury/Warminster within roughly a 60-minute radius. You'll work Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, delivering high-quality roofing repairs for social housing properties.

Ideally you have a roofing qualification and experience with tiles, fascia/soffit, rainwater goods, and flat roof refelting. Full UK driving licence required, DBS check, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Roofer with experience on domestic roofing and related repairs (tiles, fascia/soffit, rainwater goods, chimneys).
• Full UK Driving Licence; DBS check required.
• Knowledge of BS 5534/BS 8000 is advantageous; training available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing repairs and replacements across social housing properties.
• Work from tickets and coordinate with site/contract team to manage time.
• Adhere to Novus Health and Safety policies and keep records up to date.
• Travel within Salisbury/Warminster area; manage own time effectively.

Location: Site based around Salisbury/Warminster and approximately a 60 minute radius- typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Roofer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

• Rooferwith experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting
• Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial
• Breathable system compliant with current fixings meeting British standard specifications and competent roofer beneficial but not essential
• Working from job tickets or a handheld devicedaily
• Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
  
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Manage Systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate
  
• Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
  
• Knowledge of current roofing standards, including BS 5534 and BS 8000
• Knowledge and qualifications in; NVQ Level 3 Roofing Occupations or Competent Roofer Scheme experience preferred
• Manufacturer-approved roofing system training (e.g., Bauder, IKO, Sika, Marley, Redland).
• PASMA, IPAF and Solar PV experience are all advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• This role will require a DBS check
