Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a skilled Roofer to join our site-based team around Warminster and within a 60-minute radius. You will carry out domestic roofing repairs, tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rainwater work, plus chimney and valley repairs on social housing properties.

You should have relevant roofing qualifications, be comfortable in a live environment, and possess a full UK driving licence. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Roofer with experience of domestic roofing and related repairs.
• Live environment experience preferred.
• Breathable system knowledge with current fixings and BS standards.
• Working from job tickets or handheld device daily.
• Co-operate with other trades and site team; manage own time.

Responsibilities

• Roofer with experience of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting.
• Previous live-site experience is beneficial.
• Breathable system compliance with current fixings; competent roofer advantageous.
• Working from job tickets or handheld device daily.
• Collaborate with other trades and site/contract team; manage your time effectively; follow Novus' Health and Safety policies.

Location: Site based around Warminster and approximately a 60 minute radius - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Roofer for Novus Property Solutions, you'll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

• Roofer with experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting
• Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial
• Breathable system compliant with current fixings meeting British standard specifications and competent roofer beneficial but not essential
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily
• Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectivelyFollowing Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Manage Systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate
• Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
• Knowledge of current roofing standards, including BS 5534 and BS 8000
• Knowledge and qualifications in; NVQ Level 3 Roofing Occupations or Competent Roofer Scheme experience preferred
• Manufacturer-approved roofing system training (e.g., Bauder, IKO, Sika, Marley, Redland).
• PASMA, IPAF and Solar PV experience are all advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• This role will require a DBS check
