Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a skilled Roofer for a fixed-term, full-time position in Caerphilly. You will install, repair and maintain roofing systems on residential and commercial properties, working with tiles, slates, flat roofs and leadwork.

Role requires working at height and adherence to health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will have roofing trade experience, a City & Guilds qualification, and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in roofing trades with tiles, slates, flat roofing and leadwork.
• Health and safety awareness and safe work at height required.

Responsibilities

• General roofing repairs on occupied and void properties and public facilities.
• Replace tiles, felt, battens, and install/repair flat roofs.
• Fit leadwork, fascia, soffit, bargeboard and roof insulation as needed.
• Identify defects and advise remedial actions; ensure proper materials usage and time recording.
