Job summary

AllPro Recruitment Ltd. is seeking experienced Roofers to join a well-established contractor delivering social housing maintenance across Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

You will carry out pitched and flat roof repairs, tile replacement, gutter works, and repairs to lead flashing, ensuring high standards while working within tenants' homes. Own tools and vehicle required; hours are Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary (£46,800–£52,000) and fuel contribution.

Qualifications

• Previous roofing experience in social housing is preferred.
• Ability to carry out pitched and flat roofing repairs.
• Must have own tools and own vehicle.
• Reliable and professional with ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working at height and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pitched and flat roof repairs.
• Replace damaged or missing roof tiles and slates.
• Repair leaks and identify water ingress sources.
• Replace and repair ridge tiles; repair lead flashing.

AllPro Recruitment is looking for experienced Roofers to join a well-established contractor working across major social housing contracts throughout Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

This is a great opportunity for reliable, skilled roofers looking for consistent, long-term work, competitive pay and a fuel contribution.

The Role

• Carrying out pitched and flat roof repairs
• Replacing damaged or missing roof tiles and slates
• Repairing leaks and identifying sources of water ingress
• Replacing and repairing ridge tiles
• Repairing and renewing lead flashing
• Carrying out guttering, fascia and soffit repairs
• Repairing chimney stacks and associated roofing areas
• Carrying out felt and membrane repairs where required
• General roof maintenance and making good
• Inspecting roofs and identifying required remedial works
• Working safely at height using ladders and access equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Maintaining a professional approach when working in tenants' homes

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for experienced Roofers who are confident working independently and can complete repairs and maintenance efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

You Will Need

• Previous roofing experience
• Experience carrying out domestic roofing repairs and maintenance
• Social housing experience would be advantageous
• Experience with pitched and/or flat roofing
• Your own tools
• Your own vehicle
• A reliable and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and manage your daily workload
• Comfortable working at height

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday

8:00am - 4:00pm

40 hours per week

£46,800 - £52,000 per annum + fuel
