Job summary

The Hyde is looking to recruit a Roofer to join our property services team. Based in Maidstone, Kent, the role covers Rochester and postcode areas across London and Kent, delivering high‑quality roofing repairs, maintenance and installation services for domestic properties.

The position offers up to £38,000 per year, plus a company van and fuel card. A basic DBS check will be completed on successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a roofer on planned works or project-based maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques and repair methods.
• Proficiency in the safe use of roofing tools and equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned inspections and assessments of roofs to identify maintenance or replacement needs.
• Carry out scheduled roofing repairs and installations, ensuring work meets industry standards.
