Job summary

Hyde is recruiting a Roofer to join our maintenance team in Rochester, covering London and Kent. You will conduct planned inspections, carry out roofing repairs and installations, and ensure safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a roofer in planned works or project maintenance.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques and repairs.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned inspections and assessments of roofs to identify maintenance or replacement needs.
• Carry out scheduled roofing repairs and installations, ensuring work meets industry standards.
• Replace or repair roofing materials, including tiles, slates, or flashing, as part of planned works.
• Apply weatherproofing and protective coatings to enhance roof durability.
• Maintain a safe and controlled working environment, adhering to all safety procedures.
• Manage roofing materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability for planned projects.
• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure smooth delivery of planned works.
