Job summary

Graham Rose is recruiting an experienced roofer to join a well-established building and maintenance contractor specialising in domestic repairs, based in London. The role covers Merton, Croydon and surrounding areas, offering a competitive package with a van and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in roofing repairs, felt flat roofs, slating, tiling and lead work, with a strong focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing repairs and fault finding on pitched roofs.
• Experience with felt flat roofs, slating, tiling, sheet lead, flashing.
• Basic carpentry knowledge is advantageous.
• A driving licence is essential.
• Able to use a tablet/PDA on site.

Responsibilities

• Roofing repairs, felt flat roof work, slating, tiling, sheet lead work, flashing and other associated trades (basic carpentry).
• Use of scaffolding, towers, easi deck etc when required.
• Provide a high quality and efficient service to customers.
• Maintain focus on Health and Safety at all times.

We are currently recruiting an experienced roofer to join a well-established building and maintenance contractor specialising in domestic repairs.

Duties include:

Roofing repairs, felt flat roof work, slating, tiling, sheet lead work, flashing and other associated trades ie basic carpentry.

Use of scaffolding, towers, easi deck etc when required

Providing a high quality and efficient service to customers

Focus on Health and Safety at all times.

The ideal candidate:

Will have experience in repairs and fault finding to pitch roofs, felt flat roof works, slating, tiling, sheet lead work and flashings which are all essential.

A basic level of competency within other trades such as brick work and some basic joinery would be advantageous.

A driving licence is essential

Computer literate- able to use a tablet/PDA
