Job summary

MD Group – Exeter is hiring multiple Roofers for full-time, year-round work. You will cover contracts in Exeter and surrounding postcodes (EX, TQ, PL), perform roofing on pitched and flat roofs, and carry out leadwork when required.

A minimum of 1 year roofing experience and a valid driving licence are required. We offer up to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and a company pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year roofing experience.
• Able to work on pitched and flat roofs.
• Leadwork experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments of works required to roofs and rainwater goods.
• Carry out roofing on pitched and flat roofs to a good standard and timescale.
• Replace or repair roofing components as needed.
• Work safely and comply with site regulations.

Are you looking for full time employments all year round? Are you committed to putting the customer at the heart of what you do? We are looking for multiple Roofers that want to provide high quality work to support our business and its values.

We are actively seeking roofers residing in specific postcodes as this is where the majority of work will be taking place; EX, TQ and PL

The Role of a Roofer:

We have opportunities for multiple experienced Roofers to cover our contracts. You will need a minimum of 1 year of roofing experience, and to be able to work on pitched and flat roofs. The ability to undertake leadwork is advantageous.

The role requires carrying out assessments of works required to affected roofs, rainwater goods, leadwork and valleys, and be able to replace or repair to a good standard and timescale.

• One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds.
• Knowledge of current BS5534 Building Regulations
• Understanding of basic Health & Safety requirements - additional training will be provided upon joining.
• An understanding and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company
• Experience and a passion for delivering high quality services to a diverse range of customers.
• Ability to work from height.
• Ability to work alone where applicable.
