Job summary

Wates Group in the Derbyshire area is seeking an experienced Roofer to join our Responsive Maintenance team on a social housing contract. You will perform day-to-day roofing repairs and maintenance across occupied properties, ensuring safety and high service standards.

You will carry out inspections, diagnose faults and carry out remedial works, communicating with schedulers, supervisors and residents, and recording work using a handheld/PDA.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer, ideally in social housing or responsive maintenance.
• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience working in occupied properties and safely delivering repairs.

WPS is looking for an experienced Roofer to join our Responsive Maintenance team, working on a social housing contract in the Derbyshire area.

You'll be carrying out day‑to‑day roofing repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties, delivering a high‑quality service while maintaining excellent standards of safety and customer care.
